Following are ways you can help make Canada a safer place for our kids:
Grassroots Action
Canada Family Action is presently conducting the political action part of our Child Safe Nation campaign by distributing a factual and gripping brochure calling upon all Canadians to contact their MPs to legislate criminal code changes immediately.
Please help distribute brochures in your area, by contacting Canada Family Action. We are looking for help from service clubs, churches, school, family groups, neighbors and you. Please indicate the number of brochure you would like (no charge), and include your full mailing address.
Business and Community Financial Initiatives
- If you own, or know someone who owns a business, join with us to raise money to help this worthy cause (for printing several hundred thousand brochures, radio ads, website development, and other promotional activities).
- If your business would like to donate a proportion of sales of a product to the campaign, that would also appreciated. For example if you are a real estate agent, perhaps consider donating $150 for every house you sell in one month. Or if you own a car dealership, consider donating $50 for ever car sold one month. We will be happy to feature your business on our website.
- If you are an individual who would like to take some Coins that make change cards to your workplace and have co-workers join you in this campaign we strongly encourage you to do so. Every dollar counts in this effort.
- If you belong to a church, we encourage you to contact your pastor to see if you could raise awareness and funds in your congregation. Even children could collect $2 each to help.
These are only a few ideas of how you could be involved. We encourage you to be creative as this is a grassroots supporter-based fundraising and awareness campaign.
